CRCC'S UPDATE TO COVID-19

TOGETHER AGAIN--September 13th

Good Day Friends and Family,

I am excited to say that we will be returning to one service beginning this Sunday, September 13th at 10:00am.  Our goal was to always return to one service and we can check that off our goal list. However, we need to still practice safety for ourselves and for those we love worshiping with. The leaders have come up with a couple added safety precautions.

  • We will be requiring Masks to be worn as you walk in, out or around the building. (Church has masks that we can provide).  Once you are seated, if you would like, you may take off your mask.
  • Sanitizer has been placed around the building for you to use.
  • Our church will be deep cleaned and disinfected before and after every Sunday.
  • We will still offer the prepackaged communion, so make sure to pick those up at the welcome table.
  • Bulletins have returned as well as Kid activity packets. Our greeters will have those to pass out for you.
  • Coffee is available for those who desire it (and for those that need it like your Minister). Please sanitize your hands before touching the coffee supplies.
  • We ask that you practice social distancing in the sanctuary. We will not be monitoring that social distancing is taking place; we trust our church to keep themselves and others safe.
  • We will not be adding more chairs in the sanctuary. However, we will have our overflow set up and ready to go in the Fellowship Hall. If you want to come to the building, yet are not comfortable around large groups, this will be a good option for you.

If 2020 has taught us anything it is when you make plans, make sure you have a plan B, C and D. I want to thank you all for your love, grace and patience during these crazy times. You all have truly been amazing at adapting to the various safety precautions we have put in place and the last-minute changes. Let us continue to love one another, our community and most importantly Jesus.

God Bless My Friends,

CRCC Elders

KID'S TOWN ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Dear Friends and Family,

We hope this letter finds you well. This has been one crazy year so far! With Family Night coming back September 9th, 6:30pm to 7:30pm we wanted to let you know of some changes that we are implementing for the safety of our teachers and your child.

  • For the 2020-2021 school year, we will not be having supper time. This will limit crossing germs with one another.
  • We ask that you fill out a NEW Child form the first night so that we can have updated information to care for your child.
  • We will also be starting a new curriculum for 4th and 5th graders. This will be our Pre-Teen group. We realize that kids are at different stages of life and want to provide a place where they can continue to grow spiritually. This is a trial run for now. It might change in the future.

We also have new expectations for parents, kids and our teachers.

  • We will not be taking temperatures as you enter the building unless we get more than 10 kids.
  • We will be wiping down tables, chairs, etc. before and after Family Night.
  • The teachers will be wearing masks.
  • We will hand sanitize before entering each room.
  • We will not be sharing items. The kids will each have their own box of supplies and Bible that they use each week.
  • Anything that needs to be handed out will be handed out by a teacher.
  • We will be removing any unnecessary items from the children’s area (toys, tables and chairs that we aren’t using).
  • We will have a hula hoop for each kid to sit in that will help them social distance.
  • We are asking that if your child or anyone in the household has symptoms (fever, cough, chills, body aches, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of taste of smell, or headache) please keep them at home. This is for the safety of the other kids and our teachers.
  • Please remind your kids about social distancing (6 feet apart). Please don’t let them bring anything from home.
  • We are strongly encouraging kids to wear masks but will not turn your child away if they don’t have one.

We understand that this is a lot of new information and a lot safety precautions. We want to serve you and your family with the love of Jesus but we also want to be safe while we do it. We know it will be hard for the kids and we will do our best to help them get adjusted. We ask that you will help us as well.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We can’t wait to see you and your kids,
